Istanbul is awesome...the old part of town has a castle, occupied by Sultans in the Ottoman Empire ...the Sultan's bed is in the "harem" which housed the women and eunichs to guard them. We also saw incredible Mosques and Christian hang outs and street vendors, like this one making candy - hot sugary stuff in different flavors...he twirls on a stick. More later - great hotel but slow internet connection.
